Engine rebuilds have always been a large sector of the Millington company, originally ranging from
 large agricultural units some 40 years ago to some of the most diverse competition engines in motorsport. millington engines workshop


Whether it has been Ford, Lotus or Vauxhall, historic or current, high quality and attention to detail has always been one of the key elements to ensure the reliability and performance of the engines built here at Millingtons.

With Millington's extensive knowledge of race and rally engines we provide a rebuild and update service of only the highest quality.

As the Diamond Series engine is always in development, every engine rebuilt and dyno tested is updated to the latest spec, depending on customer requirements, not only improving the overall performance, but actually raising the resale value of the engine considerably.

Roy also retains records of every engine built at Millingtons.Customer service is on a very personal level, dealing directly with Roy Millington. 
 




Diamond Series Rebuild millington rebuild


Replaced parts: New Front/rear crank seals, cam seals, valve stem seals, O- rings, gaskets, spark plugs, cambelt ,tensioner ,bolts ,Main/big end bearings, thrust washers, bore recondition and piston rings/pins.


Includes dyno session, remap and updates.

Updates include:

  • Additional upper oil drains.
  • Oil Pump rotor update.
  • Sequential injection.*
  • Revised valve seats.
  • Inlet and Exhaust Port modification.*
  • Latest 2013 'mild' map. Includes a 2nd map and switch. For use with rear wheel driven cars on difficult surfaces or in wet weather. 
  • Piston cooling and additional lubrication.
  • Improved crankcase hydrodynamics.*
  • Coil per cylinder ignition.*
  • New high torque cams/inlet manifold.*

For heavily worn engines that require re-lineing, new pistons etc the cost will be higher per rebuild.




Vauxhall XE Full Rebuild

Replaced parts: Cam belt idler, cam belt tensioner, front/rear crank seals, remanufactured modifications, cam seals, valve stem seals, O- rings, dowels, gaskets, spark plugs, cambelt, bolts ,Main/big end bearings, thrust washers, bore recondition and piston rings/pins.

Includes dyno session and remap.



 








For heavily worn engines that require re-lineing, new pistons
or crank grinding, the cost will be higher per rebuild.


Honda K20-K24 and S2000 Rebuild

Replaced parts: Timing chain, idler, tensioner,
front/rear crank seals, remanufactured modifications, cam seals, valve stem seals,
O- rings, dowels, gaskets, spark plugs, bolts,
main/big end bearings, thrust washers,
bore recondition and piston rings/pins.

Includes dyno session.

Millingtons cannot assure the reliability of Diamond engines once rebuilt by 'outside engine refubishers'.
Milingtons have no 'officially' approved 'outside engine reconditioners'.
